We slowly start to learn many different things about Finn. His best friend is named Tom Sawyer and they become very close. When you say explain the characteristics of a certain person in the book or even in life, it can be a big open question. It could range from the looks that the specific character has like the color of his/her hair, or the form of their body. It could be tall, thin, and goofy, or short, wide, and stubby. Finn is the narrator for this story, which means we are hearing his thoughts and how he talks. From the last passage we wrote, it talks about the original folk language and it sounds like a more modern southern accent. In the opening chapter, Finn talks about his humor towards things and what his thoughts are. To me, I love a character that can find a good sense of humor in anything. Sometimes I like to act like I have a southern accent and talk like I'm straight out of Texas. Even typing that if you could hear me right now, I'm talking in my thick, Texas accent. The joke is I have no clue what a real southern accent really sounds like. I've only meet friends from the south that use y'all a lot. They do not mix words up like "I gotta catch me some of those jeans". Just like Canadians using "eh?" when stating an answer or asking a question!
